A bet broker (also called a betting agent) is an intermediary that gives you one account for many Asian bookmakers and betting exchanges. You deposit once, bet through the broker's platform, and the betting sites behind it welcome winning players.

BetInAsia, AsianConnect, MadMarket and Sportmarket are the four bet brokers we recommend. In our register BetInAsia opens 15 betting sites, AsianConnect 7, MadMarket 14 and Sportmarket 12, from Pinnacle, Sbobet and Singbet to Betfair, Matchbook and Smarkets. Pick the broker whose platform and betting sites match how you bet, then compare the four below.

The four brokers

What is a bet broker?

A bet broker sits between you and the bookmakers. You open one account with the broker, fund one wallet, and the broker places your bets with Asian bookmakers and betting exchanges, some of which (PS3838 and Sharp Exchange, for a start) only take accounts through a broker. The result? One login. Many betting sites.

Betting broker vs betting agent: same thing?

Yes. Betting broker, bet broker and betting agent name the same intermediary. Sportmarket's terms say "authorised Agent", MadMarket calls itself a sports betting brokerage, and BetInAsia and AsianConnect use broker and agent side by side.

Broker vs bookmaker: what is the difference?

A bookmaker sets the odds, takes the bet and settles it. A broker has a different job. It routes your stake to the betting site with the price you want, and the betting site settles under its own rules. MadMarket puts it plainly: it "acts as a broker and does not influence or take part in the settlement of bets".

How does a betting broker work?

One account, one wallet, several betting sites. At BetInAsia that means the BIA Portal and BIA Wallet, with product accounts for BLACK, Sharp Exchange and PS3838. At MadMarket it is the MadMarket Portal and Wallet, with accounts for Edge, Probet42 and Sharp Exchange. Sportmarket gives you a Main Account for money and a Betting Account for the Betting Platform, and AsianConnect runs its platforms from one member system (AMS) and one unified wallet. We think that wallet is the quiet feature that matters most: you move money inside the broker and draw on one balance for every betting site.

How brokers make money

The betting sites pay the broker. BetInAsia, MadMarket and Sportmarket describe the same model: a commission from the betting sites, based on the turnover their customers generate. On BLACK there is no extra commission on bets placed with bookmakers; on exchanges the commission is already inside the price you see.

Deposits, withdrawals and KYC

Minimum deposits start at €10 at Sportmarket and at €50 at BetInAsia and MadMarket, and AsianConnect opens from €10 with Skrill, Neteller, Bitcoin or USDT. All four ask for an ID document and proof of address. BetInAsia and MadMarket require full verification once your deposits pass €2,000 in total or you request any withdrawal, so open the KYC step early. BetInAsia asks you to wager each deposit once at odds of 1.50 or more before a withdrawal, and AsianConnect applies one rollover at odds above 1.5.

Why use a bet broker? Six advantages

Enough about definitions. Here is what a broker changes in practice.

One wallet, many betting sites

Fund once, then move money between product accounts inside the broker. MadMarket moves funds between Edge, Probet42 and Sharp Exchange with no transfer fees.

One betslip, many prices

BLACK shows odds and limits from every connected betting site and places your order at the best price, splitting the stake across bookmakers when one cannot fill it. Edge and the Sportmarket Betting Platform work the same way.

Winners are welcome

BetInAsia, AsianConnect, MadMarket and Sportmarket all state that winning players are welcome. The maximum stake follows the betting site, the match and the market.

Betting sites you cannot open directly

PS3838 and Sharp Exchange take accounts only through a broker. BetInAsia and MadMarket both give you Sharp Exchange.

Trading tools built in

BLACK, Edge and the Sportmarket Betting Platform queue an order for the price you name, up to 72 hours for football. BLACK and Sportmarket add an Arb Calculator to the betslip.

Back and lay

Lay betting sits in the betslip at BLACK, Edge and Sportmarket, on exchange prices and on bookmaker prices.

Characteristics worth knowing

  • Maximum stakes are set per betting site, match and market, so the ceiling moves with the event.
  • Built for serious stakes: the minimum deposit is €50 at BetInAsia and MadMarket, €10 at Sportmarket.
  • Settlement and voids follow each betting site's own rules, at BetInAsia, MadMarket and Sportmarket alike.

Which bookmakers and exchanges can you access through a broker?

7 bookmakers. 8 exchanges. Four doors. The register below shows, betting site by betting site, which broker opens it and through which tool.

BetInAsia

BetInAsia runs everything from the BIA Portal. BLACK is its sports trading platform: one betslip, odds and limits from every connected betting site, free to use. Sharp Exchange is the exchange, with commission on winning bets only, and PS3838 is its Pinnacle Sports alternative on a EUR account. Playing for bigger numbers? BIA apex is the private bookmaker service, from a €5,000 deposit and €1,000 a bet. Read the full BetInAsia review.

AsianConnect

AsianConnect puts PS3838, Asianodds88, PIWI247 and OrbitX behind one unified wallet, managed from the AMS member portal. Asianodds88 aggregates odds from top bookmakers. PIWI247 bundles a sportsbook, the PIWIX exchange and a casino, and opens from €10 through AsianConnect. OrbitX is the exchange, powered by Betfair. You pick your platform on the sign-up form. Read the full AsianConnect review.

MadMarket

MadMarket (madmarket.io) is a sports betting brokerage with three products on one login. Edge is the Mollybet-powered trading platform, with stakes from €1. Probet42 is the Pinnacle alternative, built for lower vig rather than cash out. Sharp Exchange covers back and lay from a €10 stake. Value and arbitrage bettors are the audience it names. Read the full MadMarket review.

Sportmarket

Sportmarket's broker service is free to use. The Sportmarket Betting Platform puts prices from many betting sites on one betslip, and Direct Bookmaker Accounts give you PS3838, FairExchange, Tradeball and Singbet (on request) in their own interface. Every deposit method starts at €10, and Sportmarket Services Limited is licensed on the Isle of Man. FairExchange charges 3% commission on winning bets. Read the full Sportmarket review.

How to choose a betting broker

Six questions settle it.

  • Which platform suits you? BLACK, Edge, the Betting Platform or AMS look and work differently.
  • What can you deposit? €10 or €50 to start, by crypto, card, e-wallet or bank transfer.

  • How will you reach support? All four offer email and live chat.
  • How big are your stakes? BIA apex starts at a €1,000 bet; Edge starts at €1.

Compare the four side by side

Our page to compare the best betting brokers sets the four out on identical criteria, with a "best for" label for each.

How to open a bet broker account in 4 steps

  1. Register. A short form on the broker's site: name, email and country of residence. AsianConnect also asks which platform you want.
  2. Fund your wallet. Pay in from an account, card or wallet in your own name; BetInAsia, AsianConnect and Sportmarket require it.
  3. Verify your identity. An ID document and proof of address, uploaded once.
  4. Open a product account and bet. At BetInAsia and MadMarket you press "Create Account" on a product and transfer funds in. Sportmarket creates your Betting Account at sign-up.

Look before you fund

BetInAsia gives every registered customer test accounts with no funds, so you can see the interface, markets and events first.

Who are bet brokers for?

Arbitrage bettors

BLACK and Sportmarket put an Arb Calculator in the betslip, BetInAsia publishes arbitrage and Asian handicap calculators, and MadMarket welcomes arbitrage seekers. See arbitrage betting with brokers.

Value bettors

BetInAsia states that arbitrage and value bettors are not limited for their success, and MadMarket says value bettors are welcomed without restriction.

Are betting brokers legal and safe?

Straight answer first: licences, then terms.

BetInAsia is operated by Lone Rock Holdings N.V. and licensed by the Curaçao Gaming Control Board. Sportmarket Services Limited is licensed and regulated on the Isle of Man by the Gambling Supervision Commission. MadMarket holds a licence issued by the Government of Anjouan, and AsianConnect operates under Curaçao eGaming. BetInAsia and MadMarket both name CADRE, a free independent dispute resolution body, in their terms, and BetInAsia, MadMarket and Sportmarket verify identity before a withdrawal.

Whether you may bet depends on the law where you live. BetInAsia's terms require you to be resident where gambling is permitted, and each broker's terms exclude the countries they do not serve. Betting is for adults; read our responsible gambling page before you start.

Bet brokers FAQ

What is a bet broker?

A bet broker, or betting agent, is an intermediary that gives you one account with access to several bookmakers and betting exchanges. You fund one wallet, place bets through the broker's platform and withdraw from the same place. The bookmaker or exchange behind each bet sets the odds and settles it.

Which sports bet broker is the best?

It depends on how you bet. We pick BetInAsia for BLACK trading, Sharp Exchange and PS3838 from one portal, AsianConnect for PS3838 and Asianodds88 on one unified wallet, MadMarket for value and arbitrage bettors on Edge, Probet42 and Sharp Exchange and Sportmarket for a free-to-use broker service and Direct Bookmaker Accounts. The order we list them in is fixed across the site and is not a score.

Are betting brokers licensed?

Each of the four operates under a gaming licence. BetInAsia is licensed by the Curaçao Gaming Control Board, Sportmarket by the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission, MadMarket by the Government of Anjouan and AsianConnect under Curaçao eGaming. What you can do also depends on the law where you live, and each broker's terms list the countries it does not serve.

How do bet brokers make money?

BetInAsia, MadMarket and Sportmarket describe the same model: a commission from the betting sites, based on the turnover their customers generate. BLACK adds no commission to bets placed with bookmakers, and Sharp Exchange charges commission on winning bets only.

Do bet brokers accept winning players?

Yes. BetInAsia, AsianConnect, MadMarket and Sportmarket all state that winning players are welcome. The maximum stake still depends on the betting site, the match and the market.

Do I need crypto to use a bet broker?

No. BetInAsia, MadMarket and Sportmarket take cards or e-wallets as well as crypto, and BetInAsia and Sportmarket take bank transfers. AsianConnect lists Skrill and Neteller next to Bitcoin, USDT and USDC.

Which countries are restricted from using BetInAsia?

BetInAsia's terms (clause 4.1.3) exclude residents of 29 listed countries and territories, among them France, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the United States. The full list is on the BetInAsia restricted countries page.

Can I bet on Pinnacle or Betfair through a broker?

For Pinnacle, the register lists PS3838 at BetInAsia, AsianConnect and Sportmarket, and Probet42 at MadMarket. Betfair is on the register at all four brokers, through Sharp Exchange, Edge, OrbitX, PIWI247 or FairExchange.

Is a bet broker better than a mainstream bookmaker?

They do different jobs. A bookmaker sets its own odds, settles the bet and decides what you can stake. A broker gives you one account with access to several Asian bookmakers and exchanges, and the betting site you bet with settles the bet.
