SBOBET is a bookmaker, not a broker. It takes bets under its own name, runs its own sign-up and publishes its own help centre, and the brokers on this page are routes to that same betting site. Its terms name Entrope S.R.L., a company incorporated in Costa Rica, as the licensed operator, and say it is licensed and regulated under the Tobique Gaming Act 2023 by the Tobique Gaming Commission.
That help centre and its terms are our source for everything below. The help centre sorts the betting site into Sports, Virtual Sports, Games, Live Casino and Racing, with two betting interfaces called the Asian Interface and the European Interface.

What does the betting site take bets on? SBOBET's help centre article on sports events lists 43, in its own order:

The article on odds types describes European, Hong Kong, Malay and Indo odds, and the Sports Betting Rules also list Myanmar odds. The display setting covers Handicap, Odd/Even and Over/Under only; every other market shows Euro odds.
Asian Handicap, as the help centre describes it, evens up unequal sides with a handicap in goals or points before kick-off: a deficit for the favourite, a head start for the underdog. The help centre adds that Asian 1X2 neutralises goals scored before your ticket is confirmed, while European 1X2 settles on the final result alone, and it names three features on top of the basic markets:

Where SBOBET does not accept bets
Clause 3.4 of SBOBET's terms says the operator does not accept bets originating from the jurisdictions below, and the customer warrants that they are not resident in them and will not use the service while in them. Clauses 3.2 and 12.1 add a citizenship test for states that bar their citizens from gambling.

SBOBET limits, stakes and account terms
Stakes first. According to the help centre, the minimum and maximum for each event sit at the bottom of the bet ticket. The figure changes from one bet to the next. The terms say the amount of any bet will be "as indicated on the Internet Betting Service". The help centre adds that, once you enter a stake, the ticket shows a Maximum Payout line. So the limit is read on the ticket, bet by bet.
SBOBET's help centre says "Winners are welcomed here". Its terms (clause 7.12) also let it suspend a market, refuse a bet or part of a bet, and suspend or close an account at any time, without giving a reason or notice, and they provide for limits on winnings per event or sport, per 24 hours or per week, which can differ from one customer to the next.
For play directly at SBOBET, the help centre says "arbitrage betting is deemed a breach of our Terms and Conditions", and the terms set one account per customer.
Deposits, withdrawals and verification at SBOBET
The help centre describes registration on SBOBET's own site in four steps:
- Press Join Now FREE and choose a language.
- Step 1: choose a username and password.
- Step 2: enter your personal details and contact preference, and tick the box confirming you have read the Terms and Conditions, the Sports Betting Rules and the Promotion Terms and Conditions.
- Press Register Account, note the Registration Reference ID and activate the account before your first login.
According to the help centre, deposit methods depend on the currency of the account and the country of residence, and it does not print the full list. SBOBET's terms say withdrawals go back by the method used for the deposit, and the help centre allows one request per 24-hour period unless the earlier one is cancelled or rejected.
Under clause 5.7, SBOBET asks for a valid photo ID and a proof of address less than 90 days old (a bank statement or a utility bill, for instance) at the first deposit or withdrawal above €3,000, or when the previous 30 days add up to more than that.
