Brokerstorm Review: Products, Account Terms and Alternatives

What the site lists, what its terms say, and which of our four brokers reach betting sites it names.

Brokerstorm presents itself as a sports betting broker that offers several bookmakers and exchanges under one account. Its pages name three products, Winfair24, AsianStorm and Oddstorm, and its FAQ also names Whitehorse and OrbitX accounts. Its terms name Redcoin N.V. as the owner of the Service. Four of the betting sites its AsianStorm FAQ names have a row in our register, and the table below shows which of BetInAsia, AsianConnect, MadMarket and Sportmarket reaches each, and with which tool. This review reports the products, accounts, payments, limits and restricted countries as the site and its terms state them.

What Brokerstorm is

On its Who we are page, the site describes a sports betting broker that offers several bookmakers and exchanges under a single account. The terms use other words: they speak of the Service, a player account and the Company.

Ownership comes next. According to its terms, the Service (the brokerstorm.net site and its related services) is owned by Redcoin N.V., a limited liability company registered in Curaçao (number 155936), and licensed in Curaçao under "Gaming Services Provider N.V. license # 365/JAZ".

Two sources, then. The pages for the products, the terms for the rules.

We hold one opinion firmly: with one login in front of several betting sites, read the terms before the product pages, because the terms are where the rules sit. For the mechanism, see how a betting broker works.

Brokerstorm platforms and products

Winfair24

According to its page, Winfair24 covers more than 35 sports, among them football, tennis, cricket and horse racing. The page lists cash-out on mobile and desktop, a view of three markets at once, one-click betting, a filter for settled and unsettled bets, and apps for desktop and mobile.

It announces a commission of 3% on winnings, and the site presents it as a sports betting exchange with back and lay bets. A back bet wins if the selection wins; a lay bet wins if it does not.

AsianStorm

The AsianStorm page describes a trading platform that compares odds from a single account and places the bet with the bookmaker offering the best price. It adds that the platform is reserved for professionals. Singles only. No accumulators. The mobile side is a dedicated web app, since the web version is not optimised for mobile.

The FAQ says the bookmakers accept or refuse bets themselves, and the platform is not the counterparty. A bet can fail (the odds disappear, a live bet is rejected, the bookmaker account has no funds), and partial acceptance is possible.

The betslip shows the odds and limits of every bookmaker. When a stake is above the limit at the best price, the system spreads the rest over the next odds, within the minimum odds you chose. In live football, the FAQ adds, bookmakers apply a "Danger Zone" system and exchanges apply a delay.

Whitehorse, OrbitX and horse racing

The FAQ gives the Whitehorse account a commission of 4%, a minimum stake of €10 and no cash-out. Its table sets three accounts side by side:

A separate page on laying horses explains the lay bet (a bet that a horse will not win) and presents Whitehorse with a "One-Tick bet" and in-play markets.

Oddstorm

According to its page, Oddstorm is software that calculates arbitrage, delivered as a desktop application, and the page also teaches what arbitrage is.

Bookmakers and exchanges named by Brokerstorm

Two lists matter. The AsianStorm FAQ names the bookmakers connected to the platform: SBO, ISN, 3et, Pinnacle (PS3838), Matchbook and Singbet. The FAQ's account types read AsianStorm, Winfair24, Orbit, PS3838 and Whitehorse.

Four of the betting sites in the first list have a row in our register under the same name, and the table shows the tool that reaches each. The FAQ's Pinnacle (PS3838) is the register's Pinnacle row, where PS3838 is the tool at BetInAsia, AsianConnect and Sportmarket.

Opening an account and KYC at Brokerstorm

KYC (know your customer) is the identity check an operator runs before it lets you bet or withdraw. The FAQ describes the opening in four moves:

  1. Register on the site. The form does not create an account automatically.
  2. An automatic email sends test accounts and the steps for depositing and opening a real account.
  3. After a deposit, tell the broker.
  4. The account is created in 5 to 10 minutes, and the access details arrive by email.

The terms add the paperwork. They ask for "a picture ID (copy of passport, driver's licence or national ID card)" and a recent utility bill showing your name and address, and they say the list is not exhaustive. While information is missing, the company can suspend betting or restrict the account.

Self-exclusion works by a message to customer support from your registered email address, and the request takes effect "within 24 hours from the moment of its receipt".

Payments and withdrawals at Brokerstorm

The payments page lists six methods, each with EUR, GBP and USD: Skrill, Neteller, Bitcoin, MuchBetter, bank transfer and an AstroPay card.

According to its terms, deposits must come from an account, a payment system or a card "registered in your own name".

For a withdrawal, the FAQ says to send a request by email with your account ID, the amount and the method or address. The terms send withdrawals back to the card, bank account or payment method used for the deposit; another method is possible at the company's discretion, with extra security checks. Before paying out, the company can ask for a photo ID, confirmation of your address, a selfie and a verification call.

Under the terms, an account holding a balance pays €5 per calendar month after 12 consecutive months with no login and no bet; the customer can still log in and withdraw.

Limits and account terms at Brokerstorm

These are the rules of the Service as its terms state them.

Brokerstorm limits and account terms, as its terms state them

TopicWhat the terms say
StakesThe company sets the minimum and maximum stakes on all events and can change them without written notice. It also reserves the right to adjust the limits of individual accounts.
WagersThe terms say: "We reserve the right to refuse, restrict, cancel or limit any wager at any time for whatever reason".
AccountsThe company can close or suspend an account without notice and return the funds.
Results and errorsResults are final after 72 hours, with corrections inside that window for human, system or results-source errors. A system failure voids the bets.
ComplaintsThe company replies "within 28 days of receipt", and a dispute must be filed "within three (3) days" after the bet is settled.

Restricted countries at Brokerstorm

Clause 4.1.3 of the terms opens its list with "If you are a resident of one of the following countries, or accessing the Website from one of the following countries:". It has eight entries, word for word:

  • United States of America and its territories
  • France and its territories
  • Netherlands and its territories and countries that form the Kingdom of Netherlands, including Bonaire, Sint Eustatius, Saba, Aruba, Curaçao and Sint Maarten
  • Australia and its territories
  • Austria
  • Germany
  • United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
  • Spain

The terms also bar a VPN, a proxy or any similar tool that masks your real location (clause 3.4), and leave the legality of your use to you alone.

Each of our brokers publishes its own list: BetInAsia restricted countries and Sportmarket restricted countries.

Alternatives to Brokerstorm

Our view is firm: the broker is the real decision, because a middleman outlasts any single betting site. Compare the four below in best bet brokers ranked.

Verdict

On Brokerstorm itself we stay neutral. On the route we are not: for a betting site in the register, the tool in its row tells you which of BetInAsia, AsianConnect, MadMarket or Sportmarket to open.
