VOdds Betting Broker Review: Platform, Payments and Alternatives

What the VOdds pages and terms say, and which of the betting sites it names our four brokers open.

VOdds describes itself as a betting broker. Its terms say it provides "betting intermediary services only" and that it is a brand managed by Ole Group International B.V., a company registered under the laws of Curaçao. The products it names are the Odds Scanner, direct sportsbook accounts and the UNITY API, and its Help Center says one balance replaces separate accounts at each bookmaker. VOdds is not one of the four brokers we recommend. Eight of the betting sites it names are in our register, and each of them is open through at least one of BetInAsia, AsianConnect, MadMarket and Sportmarket.

The four brokers

VOdds at a glance

Short version: according to its Help Center, VOdds puts one wallet in front of several bookmakers, and its own terms say it is an intermediary, not a bookmaker.

What VOdds is

Broker or bookmaker? The terms answer directly: "We provide betting intermediary services only", and each bet is "between you and the Bookmakers only". They add that "The Ole Group does not act as, or hold itself out as, a bookmaker or betting operator." (The capital B matters, because the terms use "Bookmakers" for the third-party operators the platform deals with.)

The Help Center puts it plainer: VOdds is a broker and not a bookmaker; it does not set the odds, it collects the prices of the connected providers and routes your bet to the one whose price you choose, and a single balance replaces separate accounts. The About Us page dates the brand to 2016 and describes an all-in-one platform that aggregates sportsbooks.

Enough about labels. Now the payment agent. The terms name GLOBENANCE SOLUTIONS LTD as the "authorized payment agent for Ole Group International B.V." that collects and pays out money.

Eastbridge, which lists VOdds as a service, presents itself as the exclusive partner of VOdds for client accounts.

The home page also lists esports, a casino and a live casino; this review covers the sports side only.

The VOdds platform

Three products and a set of order types, taken in turn.

Odds Scanner

The scanner compares, in real time, the odds of the bookmakers connected to the platform for football, basketball and tennis, before the match and live. Its page carries the English title "Search for Best Dropping Odds" and lists alerts when odds fall (a dropping price is simply one that is getting shorter), detection of value bets and arbitrages, and filters by sport, team and bookmaker.

Order types

The Help Center describes three kinds of order:

  • Current: executes at once at the odds you ask for or better, and can fail if the price moves.
  • Future: executes when the odds you asked for appear, within the period you choose.
  • Sweep: spreads a large order across several books.

It also mentions Position orders.

Direct Sportsbook accounts

The Direct Sportsbook page names four direct accounts: PS3838, SingBet, 198Bet and Orbit Exchange (OrbitX). The home page spells the same list PS3838, Singbet, OrbitX and 198BET.

UNITY API

A different reader now: someone who writes code. UNITY API has its own site and describes an aggregated sports-betting API, an interface a program calls to receive prices instead of a person reading a screen. It delivers real-time odds from several providers, normalised through a single endpoint.

The sports list opens with football, basketball, tennis and esports (Dota 2, CS and LoL) and goes on with baseball, American football, MMA and cricket; the site does not say whether those four are already covered. Its steps are to contact support, receive the documentation and credentials, integrate, then get support. Pricing is not published: the site ties it to the number of calls, the sports and leagues and the level of support, and it presents business-to-consumer and business-to-business offers.

Betting sites VOdds names and which of our brokers open them

Count first: eight of the betting sites VOdds names are in our register, and each of them is open through at least one of our four brokers. VOdds gives its names in three separate places.

  • Direct accounts (home page): the four listed above.
  • Odds Scanner providers (Help Center): Polymarket, SBOBET, Matchbook, Sharpbet, IBCBet (Nova88), 3ET and Broker5.
  • UNITY API feed (its own site): Matchbook, Betfair and Sharpbet, and the list runs on.

The Help Center describes Polymarket as a decentralised prediction market.

Three separate lists

A name on one list says nothing about the other two, so read each list against its own product.

VOdds writes PS3838; the register lists that betting site as Pinnacle (PS3838), and BetInAsia, AsianConnect and Sportmarket reach it under the PS3838 name. 198BET, Broker5 and IBCBet (Nova88) have no row in the register, so they are not in the table.

Deposits and withdrawals at VOdds

  • Methods (payments page): Payz/ecoPayz, Skrill, Neteller, Jeton, bank transfer, and the cryptocurrencies BTC, USDT, TRX and USDC.
  • Currencies (payments page): EUR, GBP and USD, with cryptocurrencies displayed in USD.
  • Minimum deposit (payments page): $10.
  • Checks (payments page): automatic and manual anti-fraud controls; before a withdrawal, an ID document, a proof of address and proof that you own the deposit method.
  • Cancelling (payments page): a withdrawal can be cancelled from the dashboard before processing.

On the terms side, every transaction is requested through your VOdds wallet, passes anti-money-laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) checks, and can be delayed, suspended or rejected. The terms add one rule: "All deposited funds must be wagered (rolled-over) 1x prior to withdrawal." They also say Ole Group is not obliged to pay an amount "unless we have collected payment of such amount from the Bookmakers".

Separately, the payments page lets VOdds delay or cancel withdrawals, cancel winnings and suspend or close an account when it suspects bonus hunting, arbitrage or unfair strategies.

KYC and account terms at VOdds

According to the Help Center, KYC is required for a withdrawal or a transfer. It asks for an ID document that shows an expiry date and a recent proof of address, uploaded in your profile (mobile phone bills and screenshots do not count as proof of address, the Help Center says).

The terms add the conditions of use:

  • You must be at least 18, and you must not share your username and password.
  • You are "fully responsible and liable for all Bets".
  • The bookmaker can cancel a bet or treat it as void at any time, even when the platform shows it as confirmed.
  • Odds and volumes on screen are indicative offers, provided "as is".
  • VOdds reserves the right to limit, suspend or end your access in four listed cases: to protect its interests or security, for a breach or suspected breach, for lack of cooperation, and when the law or a regulator requires it.

The Help Center says an account left inactive for 90 days can be closed.

On countries, the terms carry no list. They say: "You may not use the Platform if use would be illegal in the jurisdiction in which you are located." They also make you responsible for checking that your access to the site is lawful under the laws that apply to you.

Alternatives to VOdds

If you came for access to Asian bookmakers and exchanges through a single account, the four brokers we recommend at Bet Regent are the alternatives.

alternative: BetInAsia

Opens 15 betting sites in the register; the tools named there are BLACK, Sharp Exchange and PS3838.

alternative: AsianConnect

Opens 7 betting sites in the register; the tools named there are Asianodds88, OrbitX, PS3838 and Piwi247.

alternative: MadMarket

Opens 14 betting sites in the register; the tools named there are Edge, Sharp Exchange and Probet42.

Start from the betting site you want

VOdds gives its betting sites in three separate lists, so a name on one list says little about the other two. In the table, each row names the tool that reaches that betting site at each of our four brokers. For the four side by side, see the best bet brokers ranked.
