BET-IBC Betting Agent: Services, Fees and Alternatives

Its services, fees and terms, and the brokers that open some of the same betting sites.

BET-IBC presents itself as a betting agent, not a bookmaker. According to its Open account page, it opens accounts at bookmakers for you through an online form and it handles your deposits and withdrawals. Its named services are Skype Betting, VIP-IBC and BetSpider. Of the 16 names on that page, 8 have a row in our register, where BetInAsia, AsianConnect, MadMarket and Sportmarket each open some.

What BET-IBC is

This intermediary calls itself an agent. Its FAQ says BET-IBC is not a bookmaker, so sports and limits depend on the bookmaker where the account sits, and its terms speak of "its brokering service".

Those terms name IBC-Broker B.V. as the company and say that Curaçao law governs them. They also say BET-IBC "is regulated and licensed by the Government of Curaçao", and that the company can amend them at any time, with continued use counting as acceptance.

BET-IBC services

Services come first. On separate pages, the agent presents Skype Betting for bets placed directly in Asia, VIP-IBC for a multi-bookmaker platform and BetSpider for a second multi-bookie platform, and it names Game2Bet and 4ODD as further products, so the sections below follow that order and stop where the site's description stops.

Skype Betting

According to its Skype Betting page, bets are placed directly in Asia through Skype or Telegram, at the odds and offers of SingBet, pre-match and live. The default sports are football, NBA, NHL, MLB and NFL, and others are available on request.

The page sets a commission of 3% on the stake, with a kickback of 1% from €500,000 of turnover and 2% from €1,000,000. An accepted bet cannot be cancelled, says its FAQ. Confirmations are codes of accepted over pending: the page reads 1/1 as €1,000 accepted with €1,000 pending, and 0/4 as nothing accepted with €4,000 pending.

VIP-IBC

VIP-IBC is a multi-bookmaker platform operated by IBC Broker B.V., according to its page, with no membership fee. The page lists future fulfilment, cash out, back and lay betting, charts, a mobile version, accumulators and multiple currencies.

The page adds that API access comes on request, with no minimum turnover, for a one-off, non-refundable connection fee of €800. It says use is monitored and the access is not meant to serve as a price feed, and that registration runs through an online form, then contact with VIP support by e-mail.

BetSpider, Game2Bet and 4ODD

BetSpider is described as a multi-bookie platform operated by IBC Broker B.V., with accounts in EUR, USD and GBP. Game2Bet (written G2B on some pages) and 4ODD: names of further products, and nothing more here.

A Casino Services page presents casinos under the names Fair999, 4ODD, Game2Bet and OrbitX, which this page does not cover. An Agents page recruits agents who open accounts for their own clients and carry the know-your-customer (KYC) checks themselves.

Which betting sites BET-IBC names and which our brokers open

One online form, two steps. The Open account page names these accounts and products, as it writes them: VIP-IBC, BetSpider, OrbitX, 4odd, BetISN, 3et, SBOBET, Smarkets, G2B, Fair999, Skype Betting, SingBet, MAXBET, Betfair, Matchbook and BETDAQ. The page adds that some books are offered through VIP-IBC rather than as direct accounts, and that the agent handles every deposit and withdrawal, so it asks you not to contact the bookmakers directly.

Of those 16 names, 8 have a row in the register. The other 8 have none, so they stay out of the table.

Deposits, withdrawals and fees at BET-IBC

Now the money. The payments page prints a fee in percent for each method and direction it offers, the terms add fees for the cases they list, and several rules sit around every withdrawal, so the printed fees go in one table and the rules in one list.

The same page adds 5% for currencies other than the euro on bank transfer, Skrill and Neteller, and the FAQ adds a 5% conversion on cryptocurrencies. Around a withdrawal, BET-IBC sets these rules:

  • Method. The terms say to withdraw by a method used for a deposit "at least once", with extra fees reserved otherwise.
  • Balance. The terms say: "You can only request withdrawal of your yesterday's account balance, otherwise, an additional investment might be applied." The terms use "investment" for a fee.
  • Frequency. The payments page allows one withdrawal request per calendar week and adds 3% for each extra request.
  • Turnover. The terms say: "A player is obliged to generate 3x turnover of their deposits". If the condition is not met, they reserve the right to cancel, delete or delay the withdrawal, or to add a 10% fee.
  • Daily cap on winnings. According to the terms, a player "can win up to 75,000 EUR (or the equivalent in other currencies) per day". The clause "DOES NOT APPLY to any winnings acquired through Skype Betting".
  • Refusals and limits. The terms let the company refuse a bet, or part of one, without giving a reason, and close, deactivate or limit an account.

Restricted countries at BET-IBC

Residence is the test. The terms apply it to opening an account through the agent.

The country clause in BET-IBC's terms

"You can open an account via BET-IBC if you are NOT a resident of the following countries:" Aruba, Australia, Cuba, Curaçao, Iran, Moldova, Myanmar, North Korea, Russia, Sint Maarten, the Netherlands, the United States of America, together with its areas of Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa and the Northern Mariana Islands.

The terms leave the legality of using the service in your own country, and any tax on winnings, with you. They have you confirm that you are over 18 years of age and allow "only 1 account per Bookmaker".

The terms ask for no proof of identity at registration. KYC applies "at your first deposit": "a copy of your ID and a copy of a utility bill or a bank statement".

That list belongs to the agent. A broker you reach the same betting sites through applies its own, and two of the four are mapped on BetInAsia restricted countries and Sportmarket restricted countries.

Complaints and responsible gambling

The Player Complaints Policy is accepted automatically at registration, according to its page. A complaint goes in within six months at most, with evidence, and only the account holder can file it. The page gives an acknowledgement within 2 days and a typical resolution within 4 weeks; for a dispute with a bookmaker the agent represents, the agent acts as mediator only. A written decision at the end.

Gamble Responsibly and Social Responsibility pages also exist on the site. For our own guidance, see Responsible gambling.
